Pre-study placement | Against the background of the Covid 19 pandemic, the mechanical engineering related internship, which is regularly required as a prerequisite for enrolment, will be reduced from ten weeks to four weeks. The internship may also include computer science parts for a maximum of 50% of the four weeks. In addition, the internship is not required at the beginning of the course of study but regularly only until the beginning of the lecture period of the third semester. If you plan to do an apprenticeship within a dual study programme, no pre-study placement is required. To find out more about the placement, please visit the departmental website. |
Additional entrance requirements | Language requirements: Applicants who did not acquire their study qualification at a German-speaking institution must demonstrate that they have knowledge of German at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), for example by proving that they have passed the TestDaF (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache) with a score of ‘3’, or must furnish equivalent proof. |
