Content and course sequence
The study programme is divided into two consecutive stages: the specialisation stage (in the first and second semesters) and the research and development stage (in the third and fourth semesters).
During the specialisation stage, you will gain a detailed knowledge of IT (e.g. mobile engineering, big data, and IT management) as well as business (e.g. controlling, accounting, and organisational psychology). During the second stage, you will work on complex, innovative tasks from the realm of applied research. In this way, you will enhance your skills and prepare to use them in the business world and academia.
In the third semester, you will be able to choose from several practical and research projects from various subject areas and sectors in the core elective module Research and Development Projects. Working in a small team, you will deal with challenging assignments, such as those in the context of a funded research project.
