The Bachelor's programme in Electrical Engineering is divided into two levels: At the beginning of your studies, you will deal with the fundamentals of engineering science in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science as well as Mathematics and Physics. In this way, you will create the basis for your in-depth studies in one of our two areas of specialisation: Energy and Automation Engineering and Information Technology. In the final semester, you will gain insights into professional practice in companies during the practical phase and then write most of your Bachelor's thesis there as well.
That speaks for us

Our students praise in particular the pleasant interaction with fellow students and lecturers as well as the good organisation of their studies. Pre-courses, tutorials and mentors support you in the basic engineering subjects. You will benefit from our practice-oriented and high-quality equipment from the latest FPGA board to industrial robots.
Fields of work
As a sought-after specialist, you have the chance to actively and creatively shape the technology of today and tomorrow, because electrical engineering is one of the key technologies. Your fields of activity will range from development, quality management and production to technical sales.
If you would like to further deepen your skills in electrical engineering, you can use our master's degree in Electrical Engineering, which we also offer as a part-time master's degree. Here you can closely link your job and studies, practice and further education.
