EU-Project "INTERLOCALITY"

FH Münster is supporting the employability of international students and their integration of international students in the local job market through the project "INTERLOCALITY - increasing local employability of international students". The project is co-funded by the Erasmus programme by the European Union.

Legal aspects

International students from third countries can extend their residence permit for a further 18 months for the purpose of search of a job.
During that time, you have to find a job which is appropriate to your education.

As a graduate, you are allowed to work without restriction while looking for an appropriate employment.
In order to extend your residence permit for the purpose of seeking a job, you must prove that you have the neccessary financial ressources.

Students from the member states of the European Union are allowed to stay in Germany without any restrictions and they have free access to the German job market.
