»Antipasti« in Milan
The theme »Antipasti« (appetizers) was chosen to exhibit eight Design projects of our students.
All the projects were designed during the last years and have a common subject: dining.
The exposed projects include a video about the invention of the microwave oven, an illustrated book for children about a spoon, the corporate design for an Egyptian coffee house and an oil and vinegar bottle for a well-known Italian company.
»Pack Ein Pack Aus Pack Zu« Universal Design Packaging
New Packaging with a special design was sought here, that had to take into consideration the needs of elderly people.
Product and packaging
The students were asked to design new fruit and vegetable plates and the »tools« needed to create the plates.
Interior Design of the hospital »Marienhospital Steinfurt«
Our students were requested by the hospital »Marienhospital Steinfurt« to conceive a new colour scheme and redesign the interior of one of the hospital's wards.
»Progetto Millennio« Industrial glass bottles
Together with five other well known European universities our university was asked to participate in a competition by the Italian glass bottle manufacturer Vetrerie Bruni.
Packaging workshop
During a three day workshop, our students were tutored by the Italian paper packaging specialist Marco Giunta.
Fascination: Coffee
The famous German household manufacturer Severin appointed our students to create new ideas based on the theme coffee.
Product families
The students were requested to conceive a family of three products (hat, glasses, stick).
Bus and service station
At busy bus stops and bus stations, various services are offered by means of terminals and service stands.

During this seminar various kinds of paper were analysed by our students for the development of new products made out of paper.

The perfect shopping bag
In cooperation with the German food company EDEKA 15 students of the Faculty Design developed the perfect bag for everyday shopping. A separate pocket for eggs, bottles or a shopping list-holder ? the presented drafts show usual plastic bags and jute bags up. The aim of the competition: a functional bag which is chic and modern.
