»Giro« apple cutter, Jessica Battram and Christina Schäfer
The students were asked to design new fruit and vegetable plates and the »tools« needed to create the plates. The students had to analyse important aspects like eating habits, the preparing of food and the packaging of the new products. At the end of the course, the students presented models that worked.
One of the ten projects, the apple cutter GIRO, is currently produced and sold by the company MONO.
