Our project MaDiC - Managing Disruptive Change - Innovative business models for managing disruptive changes in small and medium-sized enterprises is featured as January's research project on the website of the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (Federal Ministry of Education and Research).

The Ministry reports on their website that the research team is going to find out "to what extent does the sequence of perception, evaluation and action differ between disruptive companies and those that cannot oppose the changes? (…) One result is already certain: It is crucial that a company recognizes disruptive upheavals early enough and accepts them as a challenge instead of ignoring them."

MaDiC is part of the research line "Science-to-Innovation" within the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre. Project leader is Prof. Dr. Thomas Baaken, project manager Dr. Christian Junker; the study is being conducted by the PhD candidates Neele Petzold, M.A., Alexander L. Schmidt, M.A., Carina Alfert, M.A., and their team.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is supporting the MaDiC research project under the "FHprofUnt" funding line of the "Research at Universities of Applied Sciences" programme with around 483,000 € and 6 SMEs added 60,000 €.
